Fornace Brioni has mixed clay and water by hand for over 100 years, telling stories that speak of simplicity and character. No individual tile will ever be identical to another. A repeated material revelation, every time the fired pieces are removed from the kiln.
We made a daring wager. To activate experimentation far from the static tenets of history and tradition, through an erudite, daring exploration of a material as old as mankind: terracotta. To conceptualize ornamentation, to recover stylemes and details belonging to the history of architecture, to study the harmonies of the earth, to work on various scales, daring to defy established canons. Finding the right balance between nostalgia and innovative design.
Our work. We have introduced new collections that take their places alongside the traditional formats, with a precise identification of groups in which they belong, all with their own specific cultural reference points: ‘Giardino all'Italiana’, ‘Topiaria’, ‘Gonzaga’, ‘Giardino delle Delizie’ and ‘Scenografica’.
The catalog's creation is designed to effectively convey Fornace Brioni's products and their story through a collaborative effort, orchestrated by Cristina Celestino Studio. This involves a strategic blend of photography, graphic design, and critical writing.
Additionally, we specialize in designing exhibition spaces for fairs and events. These tailored interior design projects serve as platforms to creatively and cohesively showcase terracotta collections, creating a common thread between the catalog products and the new ones introduced each year, all to pursue a cohesive message.
