Cristina Celestino Studio introduces a new iconographic code within Villa Erba, reinterpreting and “dressing” the spaces through a lightweight, contemporary textile language. Threads and weaves become the subject of a refined aesthetic research into color, form, and rhythm, generating a coherent visual system and a network of references in dialogue with the existing setting.
The Lounge sits at the threshold between encounter and activity. Continuity between floors and walls is achieved through a soft monochromatic material that wraps the space like a basin, creating unity and calm. The large Gala sofas stand out in the space like islands of reference: a re-signification of space through surface, pattern, and material identity.
The textile element becomes part of the spatial narrative, actively shaping the visitor’s experience. A large wall displays the fabric as framed works, treating it as an exhibited element. The passage unfolds as a curated sequence where movement and display overlap.
