The design of Amazonia, a collection designed for Ames, is a tribute to the Colombian identity, with its unique ecosystem: the reference develops through a western design approach, which does not set out to emphasize the “ethnic” character of the artifacts, and takes its cue from the production of César Manrique at Lanzarote; it also attempts to trigger a subtle play between interiors and outdoor spaces, making greenery the central focus of the design theme.
Playing with colors and textures of natural materials, acting as messengers of the beauty and uniqueness of Colombian nature; the products are traveling surrogates of the flora of the Amazon inhabiting our interiors, reminding and speaking to us every day about the importance of plants and the force, freshness and lushness of Nature.
Small tables and poufs, embroidered wall decorations and smaller objects like vases are part of this collection that provides an artisan craftmanship approach for playful and contemporary designs.
