The Sipario Collection pays homage to two of the main characters in the scenic architecture for the theatre among the traditional Italian excellences: the cabinet-making and the passementerie. The Cabinet makes two distinct volumes and materials interact with each other: the volume on the top is like a scenic box entirely made of multifaceted wood in the corners and very strict, and a light and colored passementeries on the base.
The outcome is a contrast between polar features like light and heavy and matt and silky. The upper wooden part is an austere and sophisticated shell, cut like a diamond. Sipario represents the 'mise-en-scene' of the atmosphere that reigns on the stage in the historic theatres.
