Cristina Celestino’s new collection for CEDIT draws inspiration from the delicate interlacings of crepe paper and the veins found in the plant world, recognizable for their regular textures. These particular patterns become the starting point for an exploration of porcelain stoneware, carried out through a precise study of material depth and color. Horizontal structures and vertical patterns alternate within a single grid, creating a subtle perceptual micro-movement.
The Segnature collection: subtle, refined marks that emerge like traces, ready to engage with light, in a delicate landscape between vision and sensory reality. Associating a sense of fragility and lightness with a solid material like porcelain stoneware was the starting point for the project. The tones are warm and understated, inspired by the colors of nature.

The primary aim of the project was to give the ceramic surface a tactile and visual dimension capable of suggesting the lightness and texture of these patterns, through an autonomous and contemporary language. The project merges technical rigor with artistic sensitivity, transforming an industrial material into a surface that is at once poetic and versatile.
The collection is expressed through two aesthetics: Fibra draws inspiration from plant textures and crepe paper, available in six warm and neutral tones, suitable for wall cladding. Foglio is inspired by crumpled paper, in four neutral, versatile shades, and can also be used for flooring. The surfaces are offered in two large formats and one small format.
