The volume of the Ariosto ottoman draws on the imagery of vintage jewellery boxes: precious rounded containers clad in soft fabrics. The outer perimeter is shaped by soft, cushioned curves, and the volume is divided into two parts separated by a brass strip.
The ottoman, like a true jewellery box, is both a decor feature and a storage element that can be opened and closed. The compartment hidden inside, like an unexpected treasure chest, is lined with soft monochrome velvet. Ariosto also comes in a version that cannot be opened, for use only as a seat.
